Now, who has the time to put in so much effort for a blind. Faux wood on the other hand overcomes the mentioned difficulty. Thirdly, faux wood can be scratch resistant. This is something that wood can never guarantee. Being moisture resistant, faux wood blinds can be put up anywhere in the house, even in the bathrooms, if you please. This cannot be achieved through real wood blinds. The point behind explaining all this is to justify the use of top down bottom up shades in place of the ones made of original material, but are equally delicately built. Another valid point behind using low cost blinds is that, a scratch or, two in the same will not hurt as much as tolerating a scratch on the expensive real wood options.
