It improves you mental agility

According to research conducted by a reputed organisation, it has been found that drinking 3-5 cups of coffee decreases the chances of developing Alzheimer's disease or dementia by almost 65 per cent. There are many theories about how coffee can help to prevent cognitive decline. One such theory is that caffeine prevents the creation of beta-amyloid plaque which is responsible for the onset and progression of Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, researchers also theorize that because coffee drinking may be associated with a decreased risk of type 2 diabetes, a risk factor for dementia, it also lowers the risk for developing dementia. Therefore a cup of coffee in the morning and evening will help prevent these diseases in an effective way.

It is a good source of healthy antioxidants

Coffee is extremely healthy as it is a rich source of antioxidants, even more than green tea and cocoa. According to scientists there are approximately 1,000 antioxidants in unprocessed coffee means and during the roasting process, hundred more would be developed. Antioxidants are very good for the human body as they help to fight inflammation, an underlying cause of chronic conditions like arthritis, atherosclerosis and forms of cancer. In other words antioxidants help to keep the human body healthy by protecting cells from damage.

It is good for your heart

A Dutch study analyzed 37,000 people over a period of 13 years and found out that moderate consumption of coffee reduced the risk of heart disease by almost 20 per cent in people who consumed coffee on a daily basis. So if you want to maintain a strong heart in the future, don't forgot to sip on a cup of coffee on a daily basis.

It helps to reduce pain-intensity

According to Norwegian researchers coffee is extremely helpful in rejuvenating and refreshing the body. This is particularly true if you are suffering any kind of pain on a normal day. The researchers observed that people who consumed coffee has a pain-intensity level of 41 while those who did not consume this drink had a pain-intensity level of 55. This proves without you can effectively combat small minor pain just by drinking a cup of coffee.

With so many health benefits, it is no surprise that coffee shops have become a regular features in all metro cities of India like Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
