Noted BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong has spent years fostering talent and fuelling the growth of electronic music. Renowned BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong is noted for his support of electronic music and has done much to develop it. During his recent trip to South Africa, playing in Ballito and Cape Town, he took time during his tour to visit Inverdoorn Game Reserve and Iziba Safari Lodge. While visiting South Africa, doing gigs in Ballito and Cape Town, he made time to stop at Inverdoorn Game Reserve and Iziba Safari Lodge.

After encountering the animals on the reserve and experiencing rare interactions with cheetahs and baby rhinos, Tong wants to extend his reach to conservation. Teaming up with Cape Town based initiative RhinoProtect, his considerable influence and trendy verve would do much to bolster the cause of the conservation effort begun by Damian Vergnaud, owner of Inverdoorn. The trip also served to familiarise him with the aspirations and objectives of RhinoProtect, who continue to march forward with their endeavour to fight rhino poaching and save the endangered animal from extinction.
