|Virtual Assistant is a great career choice for a number of reasons.
You get to work from home, for a variety of different clients, and on different projects. You finally get to control how you work and you get that great sense of fulfillment from being self-employed, running your own business and pursuing your dreams!
These are just a few of the reasons why, so many more people are now choosing to either do part-time or full-time freelancing. What was once an obscure career of sorts is now a prospering job market.

Virtual Assistant however can take a toll on someone.
While working from home seems wonderfully freeing and fun, it can be quite difficult, trying and lonely.
Virtual Assistant may find themselves starved for the human interaction that is an essential part of office life.
If you are a freelancer, you might also struggle to cope with all of the work you have to complete every now and then. New freelancers in particular, tend to take on more projects or clients than they can handle, and end up overworked and stretched to their limits.
Needless to say, sometimes freelancers just need to have fun!
Fun can come in all sorts of shapes and sizes though, and if you’re a freelancer with limited funds for the more expensive shapes of fun – here are just a few entertaining things a virtual assistant can do, within a budget.
Don’t underestimate the power of a great book. You can pick one up at a local bookstore, or invest in an e-book reader program from Barnes and Noble or Amazon on your laptop. Usually there are tons of free e-books you can choose from, and even weekly deals. When a project is driving you crazy, take a breath and open up your book on your laptop.
It might be tempting to stay in your pajamas all day, eating snacks while you work, but trust me, that is a recipe for disaster. Not only does inactivity contribute to a bad mood, it doesn’t help your health either. Go out, bike, run, enjoy some fresh air and you’ll see what a huge impact that can have on your work and your mood.
This is a vague category to simply mean – go out and have fun. Get your friends together once a week, (freelancer friends are highly recommended) and go watch a movie, bowling, eat out, go to a bar, or anywhere that is NOT your desk or home office. Even a game night at home, or a rented movie, is a great way to spend some quality time with the people in your life, and enjoy yourself.
These are actually quite fun, and they sharpen your mind. There are a few websites online where you can play free brain-teasers on to sharpen your memory and cognitive skills. These sites also sometimes offer personality tests, and other stimulating games and puzzles. You can occasionally use these, during your work-day to de-stress and sharpen your mind at the same time.
Whatever you choose to do, make sure you find a fun activity that takes you away from your desk every so often. You absolutely need to find simple ways to entertain yourself so you won’t come down with the freelancer blues. Read more: http://www.virtualassistant.ph/entertainment-for-virtual-assistants/
