2. Power issue. Keep a question like this at your desk to help you stay focused: "This is the best use of my time" "I do most of my time right now.

3. Accept that you will never complete your task list. For perfectionists and perfectionist are as frustrating as a greyhound forever chasing the mechanical bunny around the track. Down this track. Make sure that you work on the most important business in the first place. Drag lint, not your priorities.

4. Turn off the computer. "What?" You say. "Everything is done on my computer!" Well it really is? What percentage do? Plan to have your computer only for the amount of time each day. Schedule blocks of time for different computer tasks and work from a checklist to keep you focused. Give your eyes a rest from the screen will give you more energy for creating. Even if you close your eyes, do you think the answer to the letter can also help.

5. Do not check e-mail first. If required in your work, and then let it go until you finish your top priority each day. And then the letter batch process, for example, two or three times a day.

6. Breaks. It is a fact that breaks to increase productivity. It's been proven in studies. If you want to find someone to help ensure you have a break in the morning and afternoon.

8. Post unimportant tasks. Delegate or remove non-essential elements of the task list. The best way to do this is to always make your most important stuff first. Miraculously extra stuff disappears.

10. Choose happiness, humor, enthusiasm, gratitude, kindness, and a positive attitude. To be productive and competitive in business does not mean you have to be serious all the time. Smiling does not mean that you are not working. The excitement does not mean that you are not competitive. Being positive does not mean that you are blind to the problems. Choose to have fun at work. Find others who are like this and spread good cheer. It is contagious, and it is growing. Avoid gossip and negative chat. This may be tempting, but it is not good for everyone, including yourself.
